The US Transceivers compatible AJ718A is an 8GBASE-SW SFP+ optical transceiver module designed for 8 Gigabit Fibre Channel applications. Built in the compact SFP+ form factor, this module operates at an 850nm wavelength using a VCSEL transmitter and multimode fiber, supporting link distances up to 300 meters over OM3 fiber or up to 150 meters over OM2 fiber.
This transceiver is fully compliant with the 8GFC standard and is engineered for seamless compatibility with HP AJ718A host equipment. It features an LC Duplex connector interface and includes Digital Diagnostic Monitoring (DDM) for real-time visibility into key optical parameters such as temperature, voltage, bias current, and transmit and receive power levels.
