The US Transceivers compatible AJ716A is an 8Gb Short Wave SFP+ transceiver designed for Fibre Channel storage area network environments. Housed in a compact SFP+ form factor, this module operates at 8.5 Gbps over 850nm multimode fiber, supporting link distances up to 150 meters. It is fully TAA compliant and manufactured to meet or exceed the performance specifications of the original part.

This transceiver features an LC Duplex connector interface and uses a VCSEL transmitter paired with a PIN photodetector receiver, delivering reliable short-range optical connectivity with low power consumption. Digital Diagnostic Monitoring (DDM) support allows real-time monitoring of key parameters including temperature, voltage, bias current, and optical power.
