The US Transceivers compatible PAN-QSFP-40GBASE-SR4 is a high-performance 40G QSFP+ transceiver module designed as a cost-effective alternative for use in Palo Alto compatible network equipment. Operating at 40Gbps over parallel multimode fiber, this module utilizes 850nm VCSEL technology across four lanes and supports link distances up to 150 meters over OM4 multimode fiber, or up to 100 meters over OM3 multimode fiber.
The module features an MPO/MTP connector interface and leverages parallel optics to deliver reliable, low-latency connectivity suited for high-density data center environments. Each transmit and receive channel operates at 10Gbps, aggregating to a full 40Gbps throughput. Digital Diagnostic Monitoring (DDM) support allows real-time visibility into key optical parameters including temperature, voltage, bias current, and optical power levels.
