The US Transceivers compatible 407-BBRC is a 40GBASE-LX4 QSFP+ transceiver module designed as a high-performance, cost-effective alternative for Dell-branded networking equipment. Operating at a data rate of 40 Gbps, this module uses CWDM lane technology across four wavelengths centered near 1270 nm, 1290 nm, 1310 nm, and 1330 nm, enabling transmission over both single-mode and multimode fiber with a maximum reach of 150 m on OM3/OM4 multimode fiber or up to 2 km on single-mode fiber.

Housed in a compact QSFP+ form factor with an LC Duplex connector, this module is ideal for high-density switching and routing environments requiring reliable 40G connectivity. It supports Digital Diagnostic Monitoring (DDM) for real-time visibility into optical performance parameters such as temperature, voltage, and optical power.
