Operating over OM3 or OM4 multimode fiber with an 850nm VCSEL array, this module supports extended short-reach distances of up to 300 meters on OM3 and 400 meters on OM4, making it well suited for campus and data center environments where greater reach than standard SR4 is required.
This module uses an MPO/MTP connector interface and parallel optics architecture across four lanes, delivering 10Gbps per lane for an aggregate data rate of 40Gbps.
