The US Transceivers compatible Q28-SRBD-1.2-MLX is a 100GBASE-SR-BiDi QSFP28 transceiver module designed for high-density, short-reach optical connectivity. Operating in a bidirectional single-fiber configuration, this module transmits at 850 nm and receives at 900 nm over OM4 multimode fiber, supporting link distances of up to 100 meters. The LC Duplex connector interface makes it a space-efficient solution for environments where fiber port density is a priority.

This TAA compliant module delivers a full 100 Gbps data rate using two 50G BiDi lanes over a single multimode fiber strand, reducing fiber consumption in half compared to standard SR4 implementations. It supports Digital Diagnostic Monitoring (DDM) for real-time visibility into optical performance parameters including temperature, voltage, TX power, and RX power.

The US Transceivers compatible Q28-SRBD-1.2-MLX is manufactured to meet IEEE 802.3 and QSFP28 MSA standards, and is well-suited for data center interconnect, enterprise core switching, high-performance computing, and campus network aggregation applications.
