The US Transceivers compatible H6Z42A is a 16Gb Short Wave SFP+ transceiver designed for Fibre Channel storage networking applications. Built in the compact SFP+ form factor, this module operates at 14.025 Gbps over multimode fiber using an 850nm VCSEL transmitter, supporting link distances up to 100 meters over OM4 fiber and up to 35 meters over OM3 fiber.
This module features an LC Duplex connector interface and supports Digital Diagnostic Monitoring (DDM), allowing real-time monitoring of key optical parameters including temperature, voltage, TX power, and RX power. It is fully compliant with 16G Fibre Channel (16GFC) standards and the SFP+ MSA specification.
