The US Transceivers compatible FN-TRAN-QSFP28-ER4 is a 100GBASE-ER4 QSFP28 transceiver designed as a drop-in replacement for Fortinet networking equipment. Operating over single-mode fiber with four LAN WDM wavelengths in the 1295 to 1310 nm range, this module delivers 100 Gbps aggregated data throughput at distances up to 40 km, making it well suited for extended-reach metro and wide-area network deployments.
Built to the QSFP28 form factor, this transceiver uses an LC Duplex connector interface and incorporates EML transmitter technology paired with PIN photodetector receivers. Digital Diagnostic Monitoring (DDM/DOM) provides real-time visibility into key optical parameters including temperature, voltage, TX power, and RX power, enabling proactive network management and simplified troubleshooting.
