The US Transceivers compatible GLC-2BX-D is a 1000BASE-BX10-D dual-channel (2CH) bidirectional SFP transceiver designed as a cost-effective, drop-in replacement for the Cisco GLC-2BX-D. Housed in a compact SFP form factor, this downstream module operates at 1G data rates and leverages WDM technology to transmit and receive over a single strand of single-mode fiber, with a transmission wavelength of 1490nm and a receive wavelength of 1310nm.

This transceiver supports a maximum reach of 10km, making it well suited for enterprise campus, metro access, and data center edge deployments. The downstream designation indicates it is paired with a 1000BASE-BX10-U upstream module at the far end. Digital Diagnostic Monitoring (DDM) support enables real-time visibility into optical performance parameters.

The US Transceivers compatible GLC-2BX-D is TAA compliant and meets RoHS, CE, and REACH standards, ensuring compatibility with government and regulated network environments. It is fully MSA compliant and tested for interoperability with Cisco equipment.
